International Day of the Nurses
The International day of the Nurses is celebrated on the 12th May of each year, the anniversary of Florence Nightingale’s birth, to highlight the work of nurses. Each year the International Council of Nurses comes up with a campaign theme. The theme for this year is 'NURSES: A VOICE TO LEAD- ACHIEVING THE SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOALS '. As a member of the single largest group of health professionals, with a presence in all settings, nurses can make an enormous impact on the resilience of health systems. Every decision that nurses make in their practice can make a significant difference in the efficiency and effectiveness of the entire system. The International Council of Nurses commemorates this important day each year with the production and distribution of the International Nurses' Day (IND) Kit.

Note:
The MUMN Council would like to thank all nurses for their hard work and dedication that they show with their patients throughout their work. Your work is truly appreciated. Thank you for your constant support and collaboration,

Regards Maria
